JARED FURTADO

Jared Furtado is a Partner at Thursday Group and has run Towerhill Associates for the past 15 years, completing 5,000+ placements across the best technology companies in the world. He has also been a prolific venture investor, having invested in more than 50 technology startups. Jared led the Thursday Ventures investment in WHOOP in its earliest days, now a multi-billion dollar company. His past recruiting clients have included Uber, Snap, Shopify, Affirm, Plaid, Cloudflare, Cruise, and Kitty Hawk. Jared's unique skill set allows him to work with companies of any size, from early-stage through Fortune 500. His talent acquisition capabilities also bring a unique value proposition to the companies he invests in. RYAN MCKILLEN

Ryan McKillen is a Partner at Thursday Group and an experienced angel investor who has participated in nearly 100 transactions. Ryan joined Uber in 2010 as an engineer and employee #3, later moving into a Director role where he helped to scale the engineering team to 5,000+ employees. He was the first investor in Chronosphere, also a Thursday Ventures portfolio company, which achieved unicorn status in just over two years. Ryan is Co-owner and Chairman of the United States SailGP team, and serves on the boards of Chronosphere, Volley Automation and a number of other technology companies.

MATT SWEENEY

Matt Sweeney is a Partner at Thursday Group specializing in robotics and artificial intelligence. Matt was the co-founder of Uber’s Self-Driving Vehicles Group, and was involved in the acquisition of the core robotics teams and development of the group's robotaxi strategy. While at Uber, he was also head of the Applied Math Team and ran engineering teams responsible for carpooling, dynamic pricing, arrival time estimation, routing, and supply positioning systems. After Uber, Matt was a member of the technical staff at Neuralink. Matt currently serves on the Boards of Skyways and Building Machines.

Chase Keesling

Chase Keesling is Thursday Group’s COO, as well as a Principal of the firm. Chase has nearly ten years of investing, operations, and capital markets experience. Prior to joining Thursday Group, Chase served as a Director of Finance & Corporate Development at Volley Automation, a Thursday Ventures’ portfolio company. He served as a Director of Corporate Development at Passport where he helped the company raise $150M of capital. He was a private equity investor at CI Capital Partners where he worked on 30+ add-on acquisitions across portfolio companies in a variety of industries. He started his career with RBC Capital Markets, where he completed M&A transactions and financings for large public and private clients.

RICH-HENRY SCHABOWSKY

Rich-Henry Schabowsky PhD, JD, is a leading IP and patent strategist. He has a doctorate in microbiology & immunology, a background in economics, and previously worked on novel vaccine delivery systems. Rich-Henry is currently the CEO of EpiVax, a computational immunology company, and was previously a partner at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, a national law firm with a leading patent practice.
